Acceptable Use Policy

v2.0.0Konformità: 15 ta’ Mejju 2026Editja: 28 ta’ April 2026

Rules for using QRabl, including content integrity for regulated label data.

Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do on the QRabl platform. It is part of the Agreement between you and WORQABLE BV (BCE 0746.698.674) and operates under the Algemene Voorwaarden.

QRabl is built for businesses to publish accurate, regulator-grade product information. This AUP reflects that purpose: it goes beyond a generic prohibition list to address the integrity of regulated content (food, beverages, batteries, textiles, electronics, pharmaceuticals, etc.) and the integrity of anti-counterfeiting features.

Layer 1 — General lawful use

You may not use the Service to:

  • engage in or facilitate any illegal activity, or to advertise an illegal product or service;
  • store, host, transmit, or distribute content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, or that infringes third-party intellectual-property or personality rights;
  • impersonate another company, individual, or brand;
  • send unsolicited commercial communications (spam, mail bombs, mass-broadcast unsolicited offers);
  • engage in conduct prohibited under Belgian or EU computer-crime legislation.

Layer 2 — Content integrity for regulated label data

You warrant that the data you publish through QRabl is materially accurate and not misleading, in particular with respect to:

  • nutrition information and food allergens (Regulation (EU) 1169/2011);
  • health, environmental, or sustainability claims (Regulation (EC) 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims; Belgian Code of Economic Law Boek VI; the EU Green Claims Directive);
  • product origin, geographical indications, organic certification;
  • battery composition, carbon-footprint, and recycled-content claims (Regulation (EU) 2023/1542);
  • textile composition, durability, repairability scores (Regulation (EU) 2024/1781);
  • chemical safety information (REACH, CLP);
  • pharmaceutical product information (where applicable);
  • supply-chain due-diligence statements (EUDR, CSDDD, FAVV).

False or misleading data published via the Service may attract regulatory enforcement against you as the regulated party, and is grounds for suspension or termination of your account.

Layer 3 — Anti-circumvention

You may not:

  • scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Service outside the official API;
  • circumvent published API rate limits;
  • use the Service in a way that knowingly degrades performance for other tenants;
  • sign GS1 Digital Link URIs (/01/<gtin>/...) for products that you do not lawfully manufacture, import, distribute, or otherwise represent — anti-counterfeit URL forging is strictly prohibited;
  • use the Service to mint short URLs that redirect to phishing, malware, or otherwise harmful destinations;
  • circumvent platform tier limits (e.g., create multiple accounts to avoid per-account caps);
  • reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service in a way that breaches the AV §11 (intellectual property);
  • use the API to programmatically enable a service that is substantially similar in features and target market without WORQABLE's prior written consent.

Reporting abuse

Report violations to abuse@qrabl.eu. We acknowledge reports within 14 days and resolve them per the Klachtenprocedure (§7 AV). Anonymous reports are accepted; reporters are protected per the Belgian whistleblower transposition (Wet of 28 November 2022).

DSA notice-and-action

The Service may host content that is publicly accessible through QR scans (label pages, marketing-block content, public DPP). Where the Service qualifies as an intermediary under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act), we operate a notice-and-action mechanism. Notices alleging illegality of specific content can be sent to abuse@qrabl.eu with: (a) a clear identification of the content, (b) the alleged ground of illegality, (c) the contact details of the notifier (anonymous notices accepted for non-IP claims). We respond within DSA-conformant timelines.

Enforcement

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate this AUP. We will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation where the violation does not require immediate action (e.g., to comply with a legal order, or to prevent imminent harm).

Changes

We may update this AUP. Material changes are notified at least 30 days in advance via email or in-platform notification.
